Gowinan , Jarnes Piper , L.F. Sinsheimer. Absent H.B..uirtland , John Cha ek. The minutes of Sept. 20th. and 27th. and Oct. 4th. were reed and an.�roved as corrected on :notion of James Piper seconded by H.A. Govrman. Communi,c:�tions cf Irirs. Emma Krebs, Edgar Sinten and California State Board of Fealth ordered to take -due course. The applica.tion of Gin Sing, for license to conduct a Noodle Parlor at 630 Palm Street referred to Commissioner of Public Fealth and safety for investiation and report. The ret it ion of O.R. Miller for transfer of license for Soft Drinks to 'I.?I.Capinha and that of Chas. C. Jiri for transfer of license for arage; Sidewalk Pump and I.ierchandise Accessories to Mayfield and Faunt rle roy, referred to Commissioner Govimin. The application of C.J. i7eir for permit to remodel building in Block 66 :,,as again laid over. In re opening Pacific Street between Santa Roas and Toro Streets- it was C�t moved by H.A. Gowman and seconded by James Piper that the City Attorney be instructed to draw the necessary papers and that the City Engineer furnish the Council with it district effected. foticn carried and it was so ordered by the follo:vin- vote: Aves H.A.
