Regular meeting City Council called to Qorder by Mayor Sinsheimer.
Present: James Piper, John Chapek, L.F.Sionsheimer
Absent: H.B.Kirtland, H.A.Gowman.
On-account of the council chamber being occupied as a polling place for the city
election,�.it._was.moved by James Piper and seconded by John Chapek that an adjournwnt
to be taken to Tuesday. Apr. 5, at 7:30 P.M.

Piper, seconded by John Chapek.
The following applications for:_permit to build were received and granted on

granted permit to lay 100 feet of full width sidewalk and camtm1a1on the nottth side of
Marsh Street between Nipomo andCarmel St.
The following applications for licences were received:

Ant&ine D.Matto for Taxicab.
On motion of John Chapek , second &d by James Piper the same were
referred to the commissioner of Public Health and Safety for investigation and
report.
The application of the Santa Maria Gas Co. for permit to open
trench on Garden Street between Leff and Islay Street granted on motion of John
Chapek, seconded by James Piper.

were received and ordered filed on_: motion of. John Chapek, seconded bjr James Piper.

A petition was received from residents andAowners on Brizzolara Street re-
questing that a street light be placed at a point on said street just notth of the 61d
brewery. I.t was moved by John Chapek and seconded by James Piper.that the petition be re-
ceived and filed -- to take the same course as otter petitions.
