Riley for permit to place 150 ft. curbing and 300 ft. gutter on the East side of Essex Street between Mill and Peach Street.was granted on motion of. H.A. Gagman seconded by W.B. Martin. The petition of Mrs: Alpha Barcellos for permit to place a sign at curb of sidewalk at 797 Higuera Street , was referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and.Safety on motion of James Piper seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern.. The following applications for permit to connect with the City Sewer.wer� granted on motion of Geo. W. Kilbern seconded by I.A. Gowman: John Chapek -- Church Street between Osos and Santa Rosa Street. D.J. Riley -- Essex Street between Mill and Peach Street. E.L. Johnston -- Higuera Street between Nipomo and Carmel Street, Mrs, G. Davidson -- Beach Street between Pacific: and Pismo Street. The matter of fixing the Tax Rate fOr the year 1921 -22 was again taken up and it was moved by-James Piper that the rate of .55 cents as fixed for School purposes on August 29th be recondidered. The motion was lost for the lack of a second. It was moved by W.B. Martin that the School rate be fixed at .55 cents. The motion was lost for the lack of a second. It was moved by H.A.
