City Hall, Monday , April 3d 1922- 7:30 P.M.
City Council met in regular session , Mayor L.F. Sinsheimer presiding.
Present W.B. Martin , Geo. W. Kilbern , James Piper , L.F. Sinsheimer.
Absent H.A. Gowman.
The minutes of March 20th. and 27th. were.read and approved as read on
motion of W.B. Martin seconded.by James Piper .
On motion of Geo. W. Kilbern seconded by James Piper the following applica
ions for permit to build were granted

The report of the City Collector for the month of March was received and
ordered filed on motion of James Piper seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern.
Two petitions requesting the improvement of Essen Street between Monterey
and Mill Street were received and granted on . motion of Geo. W. Kilbern seconded by
W.B. Martin.
The application of E.F..Wichtendahl for sewer connection on Islay Street
between Toro and Santa Rosa Street granted on motion of James Piper seconded by
Geo. W. Kilbern.
Application of the Midland Counties Public Service Corporation .# 44 for.
permit to install 20 poles and 2 anchors on Pismo Street between Archer and Essex Street
referred to the Commissioner of Public Works for report on motion of W.B. Martin seconded
by James Piper.
Application of G.W. Reynolds for license for Soft Drinks granted on motion
of James Piper seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern'.
Application of James Jarvis for license for Taxicab , referred to the
Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for investigation and report on motion of
James Piper seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern.
Ordinance No. 86 ( New Series) An Ordinance extending the Fire Proof Build
ing Limits, was finally passed on motion of W.B. Martin seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern by
the following vote
