Absent : None.
Resolution No. 136 ( New Series ), A Resolution accepting a Deed from
Rose Dallidet,et-:al , to the City of.San Luis Obispo , conveying property situate in said
City,was adopted on motion of H.A. Gowman seoomded by James Piper by the following vote
Ayes : W.B. Martin, H.A. Gowman , Geo. W. Kilbern, James Piper , L.F. Sinsheimer.
Noes : None.
Absent : None.
The City Clerk was directed to Extend thanks , on behalf of the Council,
to the said Da111det's for their generosity.
On motion of H.A.Gowman seconded by W.B. Martin the.Superintendent of Streets
was instructed to notify all property owners on Marsh and Osos Streets whose premises
have not been connected with the City Sewer, to at once do so.
On motion of H.A. Gowman seconded by W.B. Martin the meeting adjourned.

The minutes of April 17th.,21st. amd 24th. were read and approved as read
on motion of James Piper seconded by W.B. Martin.

The application of E.W. Lawrence for permit to construct 60 feet of full
width sidewalk and curbing along the South side of Monterey Street between Broad and Chor
Street ; alao, -to construct a cement porch 10 x 29 feet was granted on motion of
James Piper seconded by W.B. Martin.
The application of the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company for permit
to move a pole out of Tray of Garage entrance on Osos Street between Buchon and Islay Str
was feferred to the Commissioner of Public Works with power to act.

The petition of O.J. Belloni for permit to place an Electric Sign at the
Mission Shoe Store, 723 Higuera Street, was granted on motion of W,B. Martin seconded by
James :Piper.
On motion of '9.B. Martin seconded by H.A. Gagman the following applications
for permit to cmnnect with the ZCity Sever were granted

The report of the City Collector for the month of April was received and
ordered filed on motion of James Piper seconded by Y.B. Martin.
A communication was received from the Midland Counties Public Service
Corporation directing attention to defective :'wing of City Fall. On motion of H.A.
seconded by W.B. Martin the matter was left to the Commissioner of Public Health and
Safety and the Commissioner of Supplies with power to act.

H.M. Hunt appeared before the Ccuneilrelative to crushed rock from his quarry
meeting with standard specifications for eonctete paving in the City. It •, ,ras decided
that the Council meet informally with the City Engineer at 5 o'clock P.M. Tuesday, May 2d
relative to the same.
J.H. Logan appeared before the Council to ascertain what rights he had
relative to trimming trees , the branches of which overhang the streets to such an extent
as to interfere with the moving of buildings along certain atreet,s. The matter was
referred to the City Attorney for report.
The arplications of R.C. Ivey for license for Soft Drinks, Pool and Cigars
Sideline at 1917 112 Osoe Street, were referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and
Safety for investigation and report on motion of James Piper seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern.
Ordinance No. 99 ( New Series ) , An Ordinance calling a Special Election
and submitting the proposition of authorizing the Council to levy a Special Tax for
,permanent street improvement and consolidating said Election with the Election called by
Ordinance No. 97 ( New Series) , was finally passed on motion of H. A. Gowman::seconded•::.by�,.:
