of Supplies was directed to have widdow signs at City Collectors office renewed.
The application of A.S. Mc Intyre for license for Cigars Sideline at
1002 Railroad Avenue was granted on motion of H.A. Gowman seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern.
The application of W.C. Simmons for license for restaurant at 1919 Osos
Street was granted on motion of H.A. Gowman seconded by W.B. Martin.
On motion of T.B. Martin seconded by H.A. Gowman license # 910 issued
to M. Shapero - junk Collector - $ 5.00 was ordered cancelled.
The commissioner of Public Health and Safety and the Commissioner of
Supplies were requested to have estimates of the cost of and installation of Fire Alarm
Boxes ready for the next muting.
On motion of H.A. Gunman seconded by Geo. 19. Kilbern the meeting adjourned.

Park ", requesting the Council to approve same. Matter tl

installing a street light at Olive and Toro Street was referred
to the Commissioner
of Public
Works for report at the next meeting.

petition of
John Ghigliotti for transfer of license for Soft Drinks and
Cigars Sideline at
1634 Morro
Street to Albert.Caier was referred to the Commissioner of
Public Health and Safety for report.

Supplies was directed to purchase 200 ft of.Pa..ragon Fire Hose for immediate delivery ,
and 300 ft. additional to be delivered at the option of the Council. . Terms to be agreed
upon.

Application of J.T. Rose for permit to erect a " Green Hmuse n on part of
lot 9 & 10 Block 107 was granted on motion of H.A. Gowman seconded by W.B. Martin.
The application-of A.F. Fitzgerald for permit to erect a building to be
used as a store, on part of Lots 5 & 6 Block 109 was referred to the Com,-Lissioner of
Public Works for investigation and report.
The application of the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company for permit
to extend pole line to serve Restaurant on Monterey Street between Toro and Essex Street
was granted on motion of Geo. W. Kilbern seconded by W.B. Martin.
The application of J.A. Righetti for Sewer connection on Sycamore Street
between Santa Rosa and Toro Street was referred to the Commissioner of Public Works
for report.
On motion of W.B. Martin seconded,by Geo. W. Kilbern the application of
Thompson Reid for permit to lay 130 ft. of curbing and gutter on the East side of Essex
Street between Monterey and Higuera Street was granted.
Applications of P.C. Bonetti for license for Cigars Sideline , Soft Drinks
and Hotel at 995 Higuera Street were referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and
Safety for report on motion of W.B. P..artin seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern.
On.motion of H.A. Gowman seconded by James Piper the petition for a Street
Light at corner Toro and Islay Street was referredto the Commissioner of Public Works
for report.
The merchandising Bond of Henry Mallory , N.W. Sandercock Surety, was
approved on motion of James Piper seconded by Geo. W . Kilbern.
The reports of the City Collector, Police Judge and Pound Master for the
month of November were received and ordered filed on motion of James Piper seconded by
Geo: W. Kilbern.
The applications of Chas. Harris, C.A. Oakley , and C.H. White for appo
went as Police Officer were ordered filed.
On motion of W.B. Martin seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern the applications for
the regular quarterly licenses were received and referred to the Commissioner.of Public
Health and Safety for ,report.
Y.J. Mc Intyre petitioned for Water Service on Left' Street and was assured
that same would be supplied.
The report on Health conditions was ordered.4.filed on motion of James Piper
seconded by W.B. Martin.
Claims. against the City fop the month of November were ordered paid on
motion of H.A. Gowman seconded by James Piper , subject to the approval of the heads of the
respective departments.
