Kilbern, the following a,pglications for permit to lay sidewalk and Curbing were granted: J. B. On motion of Geo W: Kilbern, seconded by W. B. Martin, the Pacific Telephtne= & Telegraph Cc was permitted to replace poles on Graand Ave between Monterey St. and City limits, and on Mill St between Essex St and s.P.R.R. Costs r;w. f iled. Kilbern. The A_plication of U. E. Bundy for License for Taxicab, granted, on motion of H. A. Gowman, seconded by Geo W. Kilbern. Application of the local order of Scioto for License to hold an "Indoor Circus ", Feb 20th to 26th, was withdrwsn by representatives of the said organization. The matter of the purchase of Fire Hydrants. was under discussion, and it was moved by James Piper, seconded by W. B. Martin, and carried, that all bids submitted on Fire Hydrants be rejected. By unamimous consent of the Council, Frank E. Dodl,, for Dodd, Steep & Co., was permitted to submit a proposal on Fire Hydrants as follows: " Fresno Type Fire Hydrant with 1.- 22" Hose Connection and 1 - :" Steamer Connection Prices on lots of 9 or more ---------- - - - - -- $62.00 each Prices on single lots ---------------- - - - - -- $65.00 ea^h F.O.B. cars San Luis Obispo.
