City Hall, Monday, April 30th 1923 - 7:30 P.M.
City Council met in special session - %.. yor L.F. Sinsheimer presiding.
Present : H.A.Gowman , Geo. S,. Kilbern , James-Piper , L.F. Sinsheimer. .
Absent : W.B. Martin.
On motion of Geo. W. Kilbern seconded by James Piper the following
applications for permit to build were granted
Mrs. Frank Burrows - Temporary Residence Lot 4 Block 151 Farford Addn Cost S 75.00
A. Paiarola - Store House Lot 3 Block 19- " 175.00
The applications of Foster & Kleiser Co for permit to erect Bill Boards
on Blocks 17 -22 and 30 were granted on motion of Geo. 7. Kil'-,ern seconded by H.A. Gowman,
The application of Joseph Wilson for license for Taxicab was referred to
Co=issioner H.A.Gowean for report on motion of Gee. W. Kilbern seconded by James Piper.
Ap_olication of C. L:addalena for permit to place an electric sign at 677
Higuera Street was granted on motion of H.A.Gowman seconded by James Piper.
The application of the Pacific Tel & Tel Company for permit to replace
a pole on Alphonso Street at Broad Street was granted on motion of Geo W. Kilbern seconded)
by James Piper.
The merchandising Bonds of Mrs.Eddis Pacheco, Surety J.H.Henry , and .....
Marsh Bros , Surety London and Lancashire Indemnity Cc of America were approved on
motion Of Geo. W. Kilbern seconded by H.A. Gowman.
On motion of H.A.Gowman seconded by Geo. 19. Kilbern the Official Bond of
Callie M. John, City Clerk, for the term of two years commencing May 15th 1923, was a

on delivery and the balance in five equal yearly payments,.and all in accordance with
