City Hall, Monday, July 16th 1923 - 7:30 P.M.
City Council met in regular session - Mayor L.F. Sinsheimer presiding.
Present : W.B,Zartin, C.M. Carpenter ; Geo. We Kilbern, Chas. Forbes , L.F.Sinsheimer.
-Absent : None.
The minutes of July 2d and 9th were read and approved as read on motion of
C.I:I.Carpenter seconded by Chas. Forbes*
The following applications for permit to build were granted on motion of
Geo, W. Kilbern seconded by I.B. Martin :

The following applications for perri2it,to connect with the City Sewer were
granted on motion of Geo. Id. Kilbern seconded by Chas. Forbes:
Mrs. H. Tscheschi - Marsh Street between Johnson and Ida Street*
N. Albertoni - Mill Street between Morro and Osos Atreet.
John Chapek - Story Street between High and Sandercock Street.
W.E.Clifford - Branch Street between Beebee and Cypress Street.

The official bond of Joe Ghigliotti as Fire Chief was accepted and approved
on motion of W,B.Earti% seconded by CaMeCarpenter.
Petition was received from the physicians of the City requesting a special
permit to park thier private cars in front of their respective places of business for a
period of more than 60 minuteSe
The City Attorney was directed to draw an
amendment to the Parking Ordinance relative to the same.
An application was received from the Granite Construction Cc for permit to
build a Bunker on lots 7 -8 & 9 Block 187 A for the storage of Rock and sand.
It was moved by Geo. IV. Kilbern and seconded by W,B,Hlartin that the application be granted.
Matter discussed. Chas. Forbes offered an
amendment
to the motion -
that
the
matter '
referred to the Commissioner of Public Health
and Safety
9OF report.
For
the
lack of
a second the amendment was declared lost. The original motion was then put and
declared carried by the following vote :

The petition of the Union Oil Company requesting permit to excavate along
said Company's pipe line on Pismo Street between Santa Rosa and Toro Street was granted on
motion of Chas Forbes seconded by C.M.Carpenter with the provision that the work be
under the supervision and inspection of the Commissioner of Public Works*
A communication was received from C.J. Taylor , Sheriff of the Cotnty bf
San` Luis Obispo , requesting that there be reserved, for the use of the said officer, a
space of fifty feet on the Northside of Osos Street between h- onterey and Palm Streets
for the parking of Autos.
It Was moved'by C'H. Carpenter and seconded by
Geo. W. Kilbern that the petition be held over for one week pending decision of the City
Attorney on similes case. I,Iotion carried*
Ordinance N0. 93 ( New Series ) An Ordinance Prohibiting the Breeding of
certain animals within a portion of the City of San Luis Obispo, was finally passed on
motion of C.H.Carpenter seconded by'Chas. Forbes by the following vote:
Ayes : C.It2.Carpenter , Geo. We Kilber'n , Chas. Forbes , L *F.Sinsheimer.
Noes : None*
