Plans and specifications for the construction of Chorro Street Bridge were
presented . Discussion. It was moved by W,B,I-artin and seconded by-Chas. Forbes that
the plans and specifications as presented be adopted. Further discussion Motion
-withdrawn and matter laid over for a week.
The application of J.EoPrice for license for Cigars Sideline was granted
on motion of C.IS.Carpenter seconded by Chas. Forbes*
In re matter of opening 5tory Street Commissioner Chas. Forbes was
directed to interview property owners relative to the same and report to the Council.
Ordinance No* 95 ( New Series ) , An Ordinance amending Section 11 of
License Ordinance No. 76 ( New Series ) was presented by the City Attorney and on motion
of C.M.Carpenter seconded by W.B.Martin was adopted and passed to print by the folios& ng
vote :

Santa I.Taria Gas Company for permit to open trenches at the following named locations
were granted :

The official Bond of R.17.Putnam , Police Judge , was accepted and approved
on motion of 17.B.I.Tartin seconded by Chas, Forbes.
The petition of Piper Sisters by Katherine Piper, for transfer of license
for Merchandise Confectionery to Ed Iriartin was granted on motion of Geo. 17.Kilbern
seconded by Chas. Forbes.
The petition of the California Highway Commission for permit to install
a Wayne 5 gallon capacity Gasoline Storage Filling Station Pump and a 290 gallon reservoir
tank on the State 17arehouse. property on the east side of Emily Street , between Fletcher
and South Streets was granted on motion of 1Nt.B.IJartin seconded by Geo. 17. Kilbern.

Plans_ and Specifications Noe 16 for the construction of:a Reinforced
Concrete Bridge over San Luis Obispo Creek on Chorro Street were presented. The matter
was discussed and it was moved by Chas. Forbes and seconded by C.H,Carnenter that the
Plans and Specifications as presented be adopted. The motion carried.
On motion of 17.B.ISartin seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern the City Clerk was
directed to advertise for Bids for the construction of a reinforced concrete Bridge over
San Luis Obispo Creek on Chorro Street in, accordance with plans and specifications No. 16
hereinabove mentioned _ Bids to be received up to 7:30 _o.'clock`P.Y.'on. the 4th
day-of September 1923.
Plans and specifications No. 17 for the Improvement of Osos Street were
before the Council and the matter was discussed at length,
Following the discussion Resolution No. 154 ( New Series) A Resolutic
Adopting Plans and Specifications No, 17 for the Improvement of Osos Street between a line
parallel with the Northerly Line of Marsh Street and Two and 3/10 ( 2.3 ) feet Southerly
I thereof and the intersection of said Osos Street with the property of the Southern Pacific
Railroad Company , was introduced and adopted on motion of C,11,Carpenter seconded by
Geo. 17. Kilbern by .the following vote:
