Upon unfavorable report by the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety,
,it was moved by-Chas. Forbes and seconded by Geo. 17, Lilbern that the application of
John I. ?ark for license for Palmistry be denied . The motion carriede
Resolution of Intention No. 155 ( Tler, Series ) , Of the Council of the
City of San Luis Obispo declaring its intention to order the Improvement of that portion of
Osos Street between a line parallel with and Two and 3/10 ( 2.3 ) feet southerly of the
Northerly line of Yarch Street , which said line i•s the edge of the present paving on said
Osos Street , and the intersection of said Osos Street with the westerly line. of the right
of way and Depot Grounds of the Southern Pacific.Railroad Co., was presented and read by t
City Attorney. Following discussion of the matter it was moved by C.I:I.Carpenter and
seconded.by Geo. Vi. Kilbern that the Resolution bf Intention be adopted. The motion
was carried by the following vote:
Ayes : C.I.I.Carpenter , Geo. W. Kilbern, Chas. Forbes , L.F.Sinsheimer.
Noes : None.
Absent : W*B.1,11artin.
Leisher and Carrillo requested that they be permitted to withdraw bid
submitted for the construction of Chorro Street Bridge. The request was granted on
motion of Chas. Forbes seconded by C,11.Carpenter and the certified accompanying
said bid was ordered returned.
Folloving discussion of sanitary conditions at Auto Camp Grounds - the
Commissioner of Public storks was authorized and directed to have two extra toilets installed.
On motion of Chas. Forbes seconded by Geo. ti. Kilbern the meeting adj
to the call of the Chair.
