Action on the applications for the regular quarterly licenses , petition of R.M.Bernard for board sign and the petition of R.C.Ivey for transfer of licenses to J.E.Price was deferred for one week. The petition of V-1.C.Straub' for transfer of license for Restaurant at 859 I:,Ionterey Street to Lee Jaqua was granted on motion of C.LI.Carpenter seconded by 1-I.B.I;artin. The application of Adele Kucera for license for Lodgir_g House at 885 Higuera Street was granted on motion of C.I.4.Carpenter seconded by Geo.11.I'ilbern. IJatter in connection with the petition for the abandonment of Emily Street was postponed for one week on motion of 1- 1.B.I:Iartin seconded by Geo.W.Xilbern. The matter of the application of V1m Erdman for permit to remove a barn from lot 10 Block 152 Ha-rford Addition to lots 5 & 6 Block 151 Harford Addition was again before the Council Discussion It was moved by ;'.B. ]dart in and seconded by Geo tw'.xilbern that the petitioner be permitted to remove the barn directly across the Street . The motion carried.
