On motion of C.I:_.Carpenter seconded by Chas r'orbes the petitions of I,.r.P:c 17,"IT
and I:irs.Ma -bel I,iiller for perrsit to place signs on Broad Street and.I;ionterey Streets
respectively were granted.
On motion of Chas Forbes seconded by Geo.Y%Kv'ilnen-i the Commissioner of
Eublic Health and Safety was directed to have signs placed at the entrances of the City ,
notifying motorists of the City's traffic rules and regulations and that the same are
being enforced. The Commissioner of Public ealth and Safety to take the matter up
with the Auto Club to ascertain if such signs would be furnished by that or`a-l-li.zation.
On motion of Geo.'. /.Tilbe__!z seconded by Chas. Forbes the Commissi oiler of
Public health and Safety Sias authorized to have the Fire Alarm sTTstem repaired; also, to

replace the present employee. The motion. carried.

to advertise for bids for the legal advertising for the ensuing fiscal y -ar. Bids to
be received up to 7:30 P.I. , June 30th 19249
On motion of Chas Forbes seconded by Geo..,I.__ilbern the City Attorney was
granted leave of sbsence from the City for the -r_eriod,Jtuie 28th to Aug. 9th 1924.
