The report of the City Treasurer for the month of December was received aid
ordered filed on motion of C.L.Carpenter seconded by Chas Forbes.
On motion of C.IrI.Carpenter seconded by Chas Forbes it was ordered that the
policy with the State Compensation Insurance Fund covering City employees, be renewed.
Application of J.B.Schmitt for license for Delicatessen Shop at 1239
1,17onterey Street was referred to Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for report, as
was also, the application of S.;;I.Pasion for license for Billiards and Pool at 1124 Broad St.
Iidland Counties Public Service Corporation applications rdos. 91 - 92 -.93
and 95 were granted on motion of Geo,. i1. Kilbern seconded by V-.D.1-Tartin.
Commissioner Chas Forbes presented a proposed contract with the Standard Oil
Company for the furnishing of lubricating oils for use of the City at the price ofd

The City Attorney reported verbally relative to the protest of property owners
in re Bunkers of Granite Construction Co. He was requested to furnish the Council
with an written report. and opinion.

of Streets , on motion of F!.B.Ija-rtin seconded by Chas Forbes the Santa I'-Iaria Gas Company
was permitted to cut pavement on Osos Street between I:ionterey. and Palm Street for the
purpose of repairing Gas Main.
