Anholm Bros were before the Council with a tentative map of a proposed
subdivision of the Anholm properties. Liatter deferred to the next meeting..

City Council met in adjourned session - Liayor L.F.Sinsheimer presiding.
Present : C.N.Carpenter, John Chapek, H.E.Cox, Chas Forbes, L.F.Sinsheimer.
Absent : None.
The following applications for permit to build were granted on motion of
Chas Forbes seconded by H.E.Cox :

The application of E.J.Leitcher for Sewer connection on Higuera Street betwe
Nipomo and. Carmel Street was granted on motion of Chas Forhes seconded by John Chapek.
The application of Armand P.Motto Hos for.permit to hang an Electric Sign
at the Blackstone Hotel on Monterey Street was referred to the Commissioner of Public
Health and Safety for report on motion of Chas Forbes seconded by H.E.Cox. ,
The report of the City Clerk for the month of Isay was received and ordered
oiled on motion of Chas Forbes seconded by H.E.Cox.
The request of P.P.Adams, pastor. of the Seventh day Adventist Church, for
permission to erect an assembly tent at the corner of Pismo ani Osos Street to be used for
the puropse of conducting religious meetings was granted.
The official Bonds of M.A.Fitzgerald, City Attorney , and of Joe Ghigliotti,
Chief of the Fire Department, were approved on motion of H.B. Cog seconded by Chas Forbes.
The applications for the regular quarterly licenses were presented.
Commissioner of Public Health and Safety C.M.Carpenter with held the applications of
Joe Robasciotti for licenses for Soft Drinks and Cigars sideline at 1020 Court Street,
and moved, seconded. by H.E.Coxf that the licenses be issued as applied for motion carried.
The applications of Joe Robasciotti were then taken up. Commissioner of
Public Health and Safety, C,M.Carpenter reported unfavorably on the said applications and
moved that the said applications be not granted. The motion was seconded by H.E.Cog.

It was then moved by C,M.Carpenter and seconded by John Chapek that the matter be
continued one week to give Mr Robasciotti opportunity to appear and show cause why the
licenses should issue. The motion carried.
Applications of R. Reeves for license for Soft Drinks and Cigar: Store at
719 Higuera Street were before the Council. Commissioner C.M.Carpenter reported
unfavorably and moved that the applications be not granted. The motion was seconded
by Chas Forbes and carried. Mayor L.F.Sinsheimer voting " No ".
Mayor L.F.Sinsheimer requested the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety
to furnish a list of all places within the City which were under suspicion of Law violati
Ordinance No. 114 ( New Series ) An Ordinance amending Section 2 of Ordinanc
No. 92 ( New Series ), relative to the Parking of vehicles on the Streets of the City, was!:::

It was moved by C.M.Carpenter and seconded by Chas Forbes that the City Cle
advertise in the Morning Tribune for the sale of Municipal Sewer Extension Bonds in the
amount of $ 189000000. Bids to be received by the Council up to 7 :30 o'clock P.H.

It was moved by C.I.I.Carpenter and seconded by H.E.Cox that the City Clerk
advertise in the Morning Tribune for bids for the legal advettising for the fiscal year
beginning July 1st 1925 and ending June 30th.1926. Bids to the received up to
7:30 o'clock P.M. June 29th 1925.
City Engineer L.W.Moore presented plans and specifications for Sewer Extensi
Division " M ". Discussion. Llayor Sinsheimer suggested that it should be
stipulated in specifications that bidding- contractors , so far as possible, purchase
material for such contract locally, employ local labor as far as possible and-that the
wage of laborers be not less than $ 4.00 per day. The 9ouncil endorsed -the sug.
ate. same was ordered incorporated in the said specifications. It was then moved by
C.M.Carpenter and seconded by H.E.Cox that the plans and specifications be adopted as the
plans and specifications for Sewer Extension Division " M ". Motion carried.
It was moved by C.M.Carpenter and seconded by H.E.Cox that the Street Supt.
be directed to proceed under Ordinance No, 47 ( New Series ) relative to the removal of
weeds, rubbish, etc.- ,from lots and properties within the City. The motion carried.
On motion of Chas Forbes seconded by C.11.Carpenter the City Clerk was direct�d
to advertise for bids for the construction of Sewers , in accordance with plans and specifi
cations for Sewer extension, Division " it2 " Bids to be-recdived up to 7:30 o'clock
P.1.1. on the 20th day of July 1925.
In re merging of City and County Health Departments: City Attorney advis
that such action would be legal and submitted a form of contract which was read. Matt
discussed and on motion of Chas Forbes seconded by C.1.1.Carpenter the matte& was postponed
for one week.
On motion of Chas Forbes seconded-by C.M.Carpenter the meeting adjourned
to Monday, June 29th at 7:30 P.M.
