Absent L.F.Sinsheimer. Moved by H.B.Cox , seconded by John Chapek that the following applications for building permits be granted. James Luchessa for Residence Chris N. Kunkle for garage Merle Austin for residence Florence B. Gtatson for addition of bath roo4i S.S.Hahan for residence Geo. A. Rhoades for shed. Motion carried. Moved by H.E.Cox , seconded by John Chapek and carried that application of 't.H.Broadhurst for permit to connect with sewer be granted. Moved by H.F,.Cox , seconded by John Chapek that the following applications for permit to hang signs be referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety: H.VI.Wilson, 640 Marsh Street Berkemeyer Garage, 1001 Monterey Street; Y!.J.Smith, 1115 Higuera Street. I1otion carried. Moved by C,21& Carpenter seconded by John Chapek that the merchandising Bond of Llrs. Mamie Motx be approved I:?otion carried. Moved by H.B.Cox seconded by C.I:I.Carpenter that the new Bond of the Chief of Police be accepted in lieu of the Bond heretofore filed and that the new Bond be approved. A4otion carried. Moved by C.M.Carpenter that the application of J.L.Anderson to tear up and replace sidewalk at the corner of Monterey and Morro Streets be granted. Iviotion carried. Moved by 0.14.Carnenter, seconded by H.i.Cox that the application of the Blackstone Hotel for a permit to erect a board sign be granted, subject to the usual 1 provision that the Council reserves the right to order the sign taken down at ant time. The motion carried. I�� Moved by C.IaI.Carpenter , seconded by John Chapek that the application of the Standard Oil Company for a permit to hang a revolving lantern at Higuera and Idarsh Streets be granted subject to the installation of such lantern under the supervision of the City . Engineer. Motion carried. Moved by C.T:7.0arpenter , seconded by E..-,'.Cox that a' license be granted to the Singling Bros. & Barnum and Bailey's circus for Sept. 10th.9 1925 Motion carried. Moved by H.B.Cox seconded by C.I ;!.Carpenter and carried that final action of the ordinance repealing the parking ordinance be deferred. !:loved by C.i.I.Carpenter , seconded by H.B.Cox that Resolution No. 186 ( New Series ) entitled , IT Ordering Certain . -Vork on certain portions of Beebee, High, :'talker, ' Pismo and Higuera Streets and a right of way oe*ned by the City of San Luis Obispo ", be adopted. roll call vote on the motion resulted as follows ayes : C.I:I.Carpenter, John Chapek, H.B.Cox , Chas Forbes.
