The minutes of June 7th and June 14th were read and approved as read on moti

for permit to build a thre- room house at a cost of 500.00 or. part of lot 1 Block 52
was c-ranted.
The petition of Mrs. Mabel L.iller for permit to place a marquee at entrance
to i:- ission Hotel Lodging House, 865 Idonterey Street, was referred to the Commissior_er of
Public Health and Safety for report, on motion of H ;E. Cox seconded by John Chapek.
Petition of F.Id. Watson for permit to place a galvanized iron sign, 8 x 7 ft,
at 1005 I.Ionterey Street was referred to the Coif]ui ssioner of Public Health and %afety for
report, as was also the application of E.J.Houghton for permit to place a sign at 863 Iv.onteley
Street.

Resolution of Intention Ido. 199 ( New §eries ) A Resolution of the Council of
the City of San Luis Obispo declaring its intention to improve a portion of-Llill Street,
a portion of Santa Rosa Street; a portion of Peach Street, and a portion of Toro Street ;
creating an assessment district to pay the costs and expenses of such work and determining
that serial Bonds shall be issued to represent unpaid assessments thereon, was introduced
and adopted by the following vote:
