City Council met in special session in pursuance of special call dated ugust 28th 1926 for the purpose set forth in said call, vizt taking action in reference o levying a tag for the current fiscal year 1926- 1927. Mayor L.F.Sinsheimer presided. : C.M.Carpenter, John Chapek, H.E.Cox, Chas Forbes, L.F.Sinsheimer:` bsent : None. Mayor Sinsheimer announced the purpose of the session. The Thirtieth Annual Report of the San Luis Obispo Public Library for the iscal Year ending June 30th 1926 was submitted by Trustees of the Public Library , who were resent , and the same was read. On motion of Chas Forbes seconded by H.E.Cox the repor as received and ordered placed on file. Discussion followed between members of the Council and Library Trustees relative to eeds of the Library and the Tax rate for said Library for the ensuing year. It was moved by Ches Forbes and seconded by John Chapek that the Tax Rate for Library urposes be fixed at 0.12 cents per one hundred dollars in valuation. The motion carried It was moved by C.M.CArpenter and seconded by Chas Forbes that the rate for the General be fixed at .85 cents per hundred dollars in valuation. The motion carried. 99 e )0 It was moved by C,M.Carpenter and seconded by ChRs Forbes and carried that the rate for interest and redemption of Bonds be fixed at .45 cents per one hundred d valuation-, made up as follows: Water Bonds 1899 0065 Sewer Bonds 1899 103 Improvement Bonds 1909 ............................ .19.
