It was moved by C.M.Carpenter and seconded by H.H.Cox that the matter be continued one
week property owners interested to appear at the next meeting to-.discuss matter with
the Council.
Claims against the City for the month of September were ordered paid subject
to the approval of the heads of the respective departments, on..motion of.C,M,Carpenter
seconded by H.E.Cox.•

Street was granted on favorable report and motion of C.M.Carpenter seconded by John Chapek.
Petition.of the Southern Pacific Company in re closing a: :pottion:.of_:Lorraine
Terrace and a portion of Boulevard Del Campo was again cintinued.
Gity E�igineer submitted a map showing the proposed improvement of -..lower
Higuera Street, Discussion Natter left over one week.
Commissioner of Supplies was directed to obtain quotations on Melting Pot.
Commissioner of Public Works was directed to investigate the matter of the
request for a Street Light on Pismo Street between Essex Street and the Rail -road right of
way and report to the Council.at the next meeting.
On motion of C,MXdrpenter seconded by John Chapek the meeting adjourned to
