Resolution of Intention No. 214 ( New Series ) A Resolution of the Council of the City of Sall Luis Obispo declaring its-Intention to improve certain portions -of Palm, I:Ionterey, Dana, idipomo, Broad, I;orth Broad, Chorro, Morro, Osos and Johnson Streets; Creati an Assessment District to pay the costs and expenses of such work and determining that Serial Bonds shall be issued to represent unpaid assessments thereon, was introduced and adopted on motion of H.E.Cox:- seconded by Chas Forbes by the following vote: Ayes : C.i,i.Carpenter, John Chapek, H.E.Cox, Chas Forbes, I,.F.Sinsheimer. Noes : None, lAbsent None. Representatives of the Llerchants'Credit Association and others interested were present relative to the matter of a Parking Ordinance . City Attorney read sketch of such an Ordinance. Natter discussed, and deferred to the next meeting. ;matter of straightening Street line on lower Higuera Street was continued to the next meeting. There cas discussion relative to an Ordinance governing the soliciting of (patronage for Hotels etc on the Streets and other public places. It was moved by Chas Forbes, seconded by H.E.cox and carried that the new uniforms for the members of the Police Department be purchased by the City and that a (warrant be dravnl in the sun of 271.75 in payment for such uniforms, with the understand that one - half of the cost of said uniforms be repaid to the City by the members of the Police Department in monthly installments., of not less' than � 10.00 per month.
