City Hall, I:onday, Earch 21st 1927 - 7 :30 P.L.I.
City Council met in regular session - I:iayor L.F.Sinsheimer presiding.
Present : John Chapek, H.F.Cox, Chas Forbes, L.F.Sinsheimer,
Absent C.7. Carpenter.
The minutes of I:iarch 7th.,14th. and 15th. were read and approved as read on
motion of Chas = Worbes seconded by ;..Cox.
The following applications for permit to build were granted on motion of H.E.Cox
seconded by Chas 31orbes

On motion of Chas Forbes seconded by John Chapek the application of
Queenie I.Yarden for permit to repair sidewalk on Higuera Street between Chorro and Morro St:
and on Chorro Street between Higuera and I:ionterey Street was granted.
The following applications for Sewer connections vrere granted on motion of
H.;.Cox seconded by John Chapek:
I:Iildred P!aterman - Dana Street between Itipomo Street and Stenner Creek.
Frank Serpa - Palm Street between -North Broad Street and - dipomo Street.
I,Ira. M.Brovelli - Palm Street between Santa Rosa Street and Toro - .Street.
The application of 'J.O.Cosby for permit to hang a board sign at Iriarsh and Higuer
Street ( 1,7.7.I.Iathe-as ) property, and the applications for the regular quarterly licenses,
were referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for investigation and report
on motion of '. .Cox seconded by Chas Forbes.

A representative of the State Department of Agriculture , together with 'neat
Dealers of the it rand others, were present to discuss ��rith the Council 'the natter of an
Ordinance relative_ to the inspection of.:meat and meat food products. It was moved by
H.B.Cox and seconded by John Chapek that the matter be referred to the Cormissioner of
B'ublic wealth and Safety, and that. the City Attorney be requested and directed to prepare
an Ordinance on it :eat Inspection and present to the Council for consideration at the nest
meeting The notion curried.
The City Attorney was also requested to prepare a draft of an ordinance coveri
soliciting on the Streets for natronage for _otels, etc.
The City E'ngineer presented plans and specifications for the improvement of
Lower - ig•uera Street.
