ITT.?.Van,;;'ormer addressed the Council in support of a petition from residents of California Park , relative to water supply. Petition read and matter discussed. On motion of Chas Forbes seconded by H.E.Cox the matter -::as referred to the City Engineer for report as to the cost of additional facilities,etc.; The application of Chris Archuleta for license for. Soft Drinks at 809 I1onterey I , Street was granted on motion of L.J.�efosset seconded by Chas Forbes. Application of 3.S.Jones for permit to remove a house from part -of lot 1 Block 27 to part of lots 5 & 6 Block 70 and build an addition thereto was received. Liatter discussed and on motion of Chas Forbes seconded by John Chapek referred to the Commissioner of Public Works for investigation and report to the Council. Commissioner Chas Forbes was granted leave of absence for a period of two weeks dating from June 12th. - On motion_ of L.J. Defosset seconded by N.E.Cox, Fred J. Bollinger was appointed a regular patrolman, with such appointment anti - dated , commencing _Nov.5th 1926, the date of his temporary appointment. A draft of a proposed traffic Ordinance was read by the City Attorney. No action.
