: City Hall, Londay, July 11th 1927 - 7 :30 P.H.
City Council met in adjourned session - Vice President of the Council Chas Forbes
presiding.
Present : Chas Po-rbes, H.E.Cox , John Chapek.
Absent : L.J.Defosset, 1:Iayor L.F.Sinsheimer.
The folloyring applications for permit to build were granted on motion of H.L.Cox
seconded by John Chapek :
Kelsey Thorne- 'residence lot 4 Block 5 Pdortons Addn Cost-,$ 1,600.00
R.L.Dennis - Addition of Porch lot 8 Block 4 Southside Addn Cost 50.00
C.Russell Hoyt- Addition of room lot 3 Block 45 Cost 100.00
The application of J.N.Chiari for license for lunch room at 1023 Court Street
was referred to the Co.. aissioner of Public 1.orks for report on motion of John Chapek
seconded by H.E.Cox. -
The application of E.F.;;'ichtendahl for Sewer Connection on Lincoln Avenue, in
Anholm Addition was laid over for one week.
Applications of.the I:iidland Counties Public Service Corporation ldos. 132,133 and
134 for permit to do certain work as set forth in the said applications were referred to
the Co:_L2issioner of Public Works with polyrer to act, on motion of John Chapek seconded by
H.E.Cox.
The merchandising Bond of H.Kuden , secured by a Certified Check in the amount of
0 200.001 eras approved on motion of H.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek.
On motion of H.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek she report of the City Treasurer for
the month of June vfas received and :ordered filed.
A h5ap of a xesubdivision of Blocks 28.and 31 of Phillips Addition was presented
and referred to the City Engineer for checking and report to the Council,
zpplication of I.L.Idichols for license for Cigars Sideline-at 311 Higuera Street
was granted on motion of H.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek.
The petitionsof =dice I.T.rilson for permit to place a I11arquee at 864 I:'onterey Street,
and of The ','ission Art Shop for permit to hang an Electric Sign at 1032 Chorro Street, were
granted on motion of H.E.Cox seconded py John Ehapek.
The matter of the improvement of the Alley in Block 25 was again laid over.
Resolution No, 226 ( New Series ), A Resolution accepting a Deed from Lonnie C.Be
and Julia 1I.Bell eras introduced and adopted on notion of H.R.Cox seconded by John Chapek,
by the following vote:
Ayes : Chas Forbes, H.E.Cox, John Chapek.
