Resolution No. 247 ( New Series ) , A Resolution of the Council of the City of
San Luis Obispo, relating to the issuance of Street Improvement Bonds pursuant to Resolution
of Intention No. 214 ( New Series ), determining--,the amount of unpaid assessments, presorib-
ing the denominations of such Bonds and providing for their issuanoe , was introduced, passed
and adopted, on motion of Chas Forbes seconded by L,J.Defosset by the following vote:
Ayes : Chas Forbes, L.J.Defosset, H.E,Cox, John Chapel-t.' L.F.Sinsheimer.
Naes :None.
Absent : None.
The matter of the improvement of Upper Monterey Street was brought up by
Commissioner H,E.Cox. No aotion._
On motion of Chas Forbes.seconded by John Chapek the meeting adjourned to Monday,
December 12th at 7:30 P.M.

The following applications for permit to build were granted:on motion of H.E.Cox
seconded by L.J.Defosset:

The application of Barney Ruben for license for Cigars Sideline at 877 Monterey
Street was referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for report on motion of
H,3,Cox seconded by L.J.Defosset , as was also, the petition of Paul A. Carlin for permit to
place an electric sign at 1129 Garden Street.
The petition of Clara A. Borah for permit to connect with the City Sewer on Murray
Avenue between Santa Rosa Street and North Broad Street was granted on motion of H..E.Cox
seconded by L.J.Defosset.
The following petitions for transfer of license were referred to theCommissioner (t
Public Health and Safety for report to the Council on motion of H.E.Cox seconded by L.J.Defossi
