On motion of Chas Forbes seconded by L.J.Defosset the Bids were referred to the
Engineer for calculation and report, to be submitted to the Council at a meeting to be called
by the Mayor. The motion carried.
Following discussion relative to advertising signs., the City. Attorney was requested
to draw an Ordinance covering points discussed and present at the next meeting.
The City Engineer presented x:ap showing proposed improvement of Upper l:onterey Street
i;.atter discussed and left over for further report.
On motion of Chas Forbes seconded by L.J.Defosset the meeting adjourned.

Absent : L.J.Defosset, Iiayor L.F.Sinsheimer.
The minutes of IJay 7th and 14th were read and approved as read on motion of.
John Chapek seconded by H.E.Cox.
On motion of E.'.Cox seconded by John Chapek it was ordered that a message of
condolence be sent Idayor L.F.Sinsheimer in his bereavement.
J.J.Andre appeared in re the matter of an unpaid assessment on Palm Street ( Joint )
Paving project. On motion of John Chapek seconded by H.E.Cox the matter was-refer red to
Commissioner of Finance and Fevenue for investigation and report to the Council.
W.H.Porter appeared in re matter of Anholm Sewer.
On motion of H.E.Cox seconded
John Chapek the matter was referred to the City Engineer for report.
On motion of H.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek the meeting adjourned, out of respect to
