City Hall, ionday, June 18th 1928 - 7 :30 P.I.
City Council met in regular session.-- In the absence of I;iayor i.F.Sinsheimer
and Vice =resident of the Council Chas Forbes, Councilman L.J.Defosset was regularly nominated
and elected as temporary chairman of the meeting: I%:ir Defosset took the Chair and directed
the Clerk to call the roll.
Present : L.J.Defosset, H.E.Cox, John Chapek.
Absent : IIaycr L.F.Sin.sheimer, Commissioner Chas Forbes.
The minutes of June 4th and 11th were read and approved as read on motion of
John Chapek seconded by H.E.Cox.
On motion of H.B.Coz seconded by John Chapek the following applications for permit
to build were granted
F.?.Fanning - 'esidence & Garage Block 54
J.b.Cullen - Residence
Block 178 Loomis 1ddn
Cost 3,500.00
Cost 600.00

On motion of H. .Cox seconded by John Chapek the applications of A,C. Land and
Chas L•.Stephens for license for Taxicab at 2502 Victoria Street and 879 Higuera 6treet ,
respectively, were referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for report to the
Council.
:he following applications for permit to connect with the City Sewer were granted
on motion of H.B.CoX seconded by John Chapek :
=.D.Caudill - Broad Street between Woodbridge and Christian Street.
i,r.D.I c Rae - I,iitchell Drive between Broad Street and Tenbrook Street
E.F.'dichtendahl - Id - :Broad Street between Lincoln Street and Peach Street.
The applications for the regular quarterly licenses were presented and on motion of
.;;.Cox seconded by John Chapek were referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety
for investigation and report to the Council.
On motion of H.3.Cox seconded by John Chapek the meeting adjourned to ?:ionday,
June 25th at 7 :30
