Application of i:Iidland Counties Public Service Corporation No. 149 for permit to set
one pole on Park Street between mill Street and Peach Street was granted on motion of i:. -.Cox

The petition of the union Gil CompL!ny for permit to renew a telephone pole on

The merchandise Bond of Chas Harris and A.H. Robinson, surety L.C.Porter, was receiv
nd approved, and the Surety accepted on motion of H.B.Cox seconded by John Chapek.

to H.E.Crosby vas granted on motion of H.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek.
Petition of A.L.Essig for transfer of license for i:=dse Groceries, Cigars Sideline,
and Soft Brinks, at 2145 Broad street to 177. 0. Hudson was referred to the Chief of Police for
report on motion of H.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek.
The petition of H.A. Squires for permit to place a board Sign 6 ft by 8ft on
premises of San !uis _auto Wrecking Co at 438 Higuera °treet , was referred to the Commissioner
of Public Works for report on motion of John Chapek seconded by H.E.Cox.
A petition was received from Rex K-Fuller protesting the erection of a Garage by
;.A.Anderson on %:Iotultain View Street , Anholm Addition. Liatter discussed, and it was
oved by H.E.Cox •nd seconded by John Chapek that the protest be received and approved. The
otion carried. It was then moved by H.E.Cox and seconded by John Chapek that the said
propo6ed to be erected, be set back 32 feet from Llountain View Street property line.

The application of L.J.Riggin for permit to erect a Super Service Station on
over Higuera Street, install necessary tanks, pumps etc., was received,and thesame was refe
o the Commissioner of Public Works and the City Engineer for investigation and report to the
;ouncil, on motion of John Chapek seconded by H.E.Cox.
The reports of the City Collector and round Luster for the month of June were
received and ordered filed on motion of H.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek.

for licenses for Lodging louse and Boarding rouse at 143 Santa Barbara venue, were granted.
On Notion of H.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek the application of 11:1arner Potter for
license for Restaurant at. 717 Higuera Street was granted , as was also, the applications of
Iva Panblaging for licenses for Lunch Counter, Cigars sideline and Soft Brinks at 1143 i:iorro St.
