Chas. -Forbes, on oehalf of the School of Trustees, made verbal request for per-
mit to Construct a foot bridle across : a i Luis Obispo Creel: at , ;arsh and Ids: Streets. The
request ,ias granted on motion of H. B. Cox seconded by L. J. Defosset.

City Council met in adjourned session . In the absence of Liayor L.F.Sinsheimer
and Vice President of the Council Chas Forbes , Commissioner of Public Health and Safety
L.J.Defosset was unanimously chosen as Chairman of the meeting and the City Clerk proceeded
with Roll Call:

On notion of "H.B.Cox seconded by John Chapek the following applications for permit to

The petition of the Golden Rule Service Station for permit to install an additional
1550 gallon Storage Tank at Service Station at I,Iurray and Monterey Streets was referred to the
Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for report, on notion of John Chapek seconded by H..0
A letter from the Field Engineer of the Automobile Club of Southern California
relative to the placing of Federal Aid I :Iarkers upon the U.S.Federal Rid system in Southern
California, was referred, on motion of H.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek to the Commissioner of
JPublic Health and Safety with power to act .
Matter of the petition of C.r:.Younglove et al relative toparking Autos in Alley in
(Block 86 was laid over to the next meeting.
