Defosset, H. E. Cox, John Chapek, L. F. Sinsheimer. Absent: None. The following applications for permit to build were granted on motion of H. E. Cox seconded by John Chapek: H. C. Kinsman - Residence and Garage Pt Lot 12 Block 1 Fixlini Tract Cost $ 29500.00 R. A. .ialton - Residence and Garage Block 5 Hathti°;ay Addition Cost 39000.00 M. H. Culp - Addn of a porch Pt Lot 5 Block 120 Murray & Church Adda Cost 150.00 The following applications for permit to lay curbing and gutter were granted, on motion of H. E. Cox seconded by L. J. Defosset: Irene J. Carpenter - 100 ft. curbing and gutter on the east side Archer Street between Pismo and Pacific Streets, Lucretia Gill - 50 ft. curbing and gutter on the east side. Archer Street between Pismo and Pacific Streets. Josephine Cass Logan - 50 ft, curbing and gutter on the east side Archer Street between Pismo and Pacific Streets, L. A. Danielson - 100 ft. of sidewalk and curbing on the east side Archer Street be- tween Pismo and Pacific Streets. On motion of H. E. Cox seconded by Chas. Forbes the following applications for sewer connections were granted: Mrs. Pirie - Monterey Street between Ida Street and Grove Street. I- William Cherry - Four (4) Stub sewer connections on I:Ionterey Street between Johnson Street and Ida Street. Albert Muzio - Stub sewer on Monterey Street between Essex and Johnson Streets. D. J. Righetti - Essex Street between Monterey Street and Palm Street, C. A. De Velbiss - Kentucky Street between Second and Third Streets. Archie Kinsman - Branch Street between Broad. Street and Story Street, Mrs. Thurza A. Rose - Mt. Pleasanton Drive between Murray Street and Meineeke Street. The application of Jessie N. Trujillo for license for Boarding House at 898 Sycamore Street was referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for report to the Council on motion of Chas. Forbes seconded by H. E. Cox. On motion of Chas..Forbes seconded by H. E. Cox the.petition of Mr. Stanton for permit to erect a sign board 12 x 12 ft, atop the A. E. Brooking Building at 956 Monterey Street was referred to the Commissioner. of Public Health and Safety for report to the Council. The reports of the City Clerk and City Treasurer for the month of March were receive( and ordered filed on motion of Chas. Forbes seconded by H. E. Cox. City Engineer, L. W. Moore, filed-written report relative to the completion of-sewer extension in Anholm Addition; by Contractor A. E. Branch, and recommended final acceptance of said Sevier, by the Council. It was moved by H. E. Cox and seconded by Chas. Forbes that the s &id sewer be accepted in accordance with the agreement between the City of San Luis Obispo ' and Anholm Bros., and in accordance with report of the City Engineer. The motion carried. The petition of the Coca -Cola Bottling 1,7orks for permit to install a gasoline storage tank and pump at 969 Islay Street w�;s again laid over. On motion of L. J. Defosset seconded by Chas. Forbes the petition of Joe &Ioranda for permit to place an Electric Sign at 875 Monterey Street (Obispo Cafe) was granted. Relative to the petition of Nicholas E. Hirsch for Sewer Extension on George Street: Discussion. On motion of H. E. Cox seconded by Chas. Forbes the City Engineer was directed tc install Seger in accordance with said petition.
