City Hall, r.- !ednesday, May 15th, 1929 -7 :30 F.
City Council met in adjourned session - I:Iayor L. F. Sinsheimer presiding.
Present: Chas. Forbes, L. J. Defosset, H. E.. Cox, John Chapek, L. F. Sinsheimer.
Absent: Rone.
The first order of business was the seating of the City Officials elect, viz:
L. F. Sinsheimer, I;Iayor; John Chapek and H. F. Cox, Councilmen. The respective Officials
subscribed to the required Oath and their official Bonds were presented.
The Roll of the new Council uras then called.
Present: Chas. Forbes, L..J. Defosset, H. E. Cox, John Chapek, L. F. Sinsheimer.
Absent: None.
It was moved by H. E, Cox and seconded b;; John Chapek that Chas. Forbes be named
as Vice-president of the Council.

Ayes: L. J. .Defosset, H. E. Cox, John Chapek, L. F. Sinsheimer.
Noes: None.
Absent: None.
Charles Forbes voted - Present.
The matter of nominating the Commissioners..df -'the.- respective departments was deferrer
to the next meeting.
On motion of L. J. Defosset seconded by Chas. Forbes the Official Bond of Iuayor
L. F. , Sinsheimer was approved.
On motion of Chas. Forbes seconded b;,• L. J. Defosset the Official Bond of H. Z"'. Cox
was approved.
On motion of H. H. Cox seconded by L. J. Defosset the Official Bond of John Chapek
was approved.
It was moved by L. J. Defosset and seconded by John Chapek that the present city
officers continue in office until further action of the Council. The motion carried.
Police officer Thomas Harris, with his attorney, Albert Nelson, appeared before the
Council and presented a petition signed by citizens and Tax payers requesting that the said
Police officer be retained on the Police Force. On motion of L. J. Defosset seconded by
H. . Cox it was ordered that'the petition be received and placed on file. The motion carried,
It was moved by Chas. Forbes and seconded by H. Cox that the Council go into
executive session. The motion carried.
The Council is now in open session.
On motion of H. E. Cox seconded by John Chapek the meeting adjourned.
