Oxnard for License for ( Mdse- Soft Drinks, Lunch etc.) at 796 Higuera �treet was referred to the Com- issioner of Public health and Safety for report to the Council. The application of Foley & Burk Shows, by L.G.ChL :pman, for license for Carnival at guera and South Streets for the week of July 23d to 27th was received and on motion of has Forbes seconded u.E.Cox the aDDlication was referred to the Commissioner of Public ealth and Safety for- report to the Council. The Eerchandising Bond of ;. It was moved by H. .Cox and seconded by L.J.Defosset that the application be granted with the rovision that the petitioner be permitted to recess curb for two driveways at either —end of he property. One driveway to be 58 feet vide v.,ith seven foot slope and three foot flat idewalk, the other to be 120 feet wide with seven foot slope and three foot flat sidetiialk; e hundred feet of five foot standard part: sidetivialk and curbing to be laid between the two iveways. The motion_ carried with the provision that the work be done under the supervisi f the City Engineer.
