The reports of the City Collector and the Police Judge for the month of August were received and ordered filed on motion of L•.J.Defosset seconded by .E.Cox. The claim of L. Lewin & Son in the amount of $ 491.55 , premium on Insurance - Public Liability and Property Damage, was presented; On motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by Chas Forbes it was ordered that a warrant be deawn for the above named amount. Ordinance No. 137 ( New Series ), An Ordinance levying.a Tax for the. current fiscal year ( 1929- 1930 ) upon all taxable property within the City of San Luis Obisop and fixing the rate of such tax at 0 1.60 per hundred dollars in valuation of property was finally passed, on motion of John Chapek seconded by L.J.Defosset by the following vote: , Ayes : Chas Forbes, L.J.Defosset, H.E. Cox, John Chapek, L.F.Sinsheimer. (does : None, Absent : None.
