City Hall, Tuesday, September 17th 1929 - 1:45 O'clock 2914,
City.Council met in adjourned session - i?ayor L.F.Sinsheimer presiding.
Present : Chas Forbes, L.J.Defosset, H.r,.Cox, John Chapek, L.F.:Sinsheimer.
Absent : None.
aids received on September 3rd., 1929 for Change of Channel of San Luis Obgspo Creek
and the construction of a wooden reteining wall were now taken up.- It appearing that the
Bid of rienry C. Dalessi, in the amount -of $ 5,520.00 was the lowest and -best bid of all Bids
received, it was moved by H.L.Cox and seconded by John Chapek that the Contract be awarded to
Henry C. Dalessi for the price named in his Bid. The motion carried , Mayor L.F.Sinshe.
voting negatively.
On motion of Chas Forbes seconded by L.J.befosset , it was ordered that the certified
checks of the unsuccessful Bidders be returned,

Sewer on Essex Street
between Buchon

the Southern Pacific Railroad right of wat was granted on
motion of
H.H.Cox seconded by John Chapek.
The petition of George and Chris Anholm requesting the establishment of the official
Street grade on Chorro Street within the Anholm Addition was received and laid over to the
next meeting of the Council.
City Engineer, L.l'l.Hoore, submitted estimate No. 1 for work on the construction of
the Santa Ejosa Street Culvert, E.A.Branch, Contractot, in the amount of 0 391.88
