Upon unfavorable report of the.Commiissioner of Public Health and :safety, it was
moved by John Chapek and seconded by H.E.Cox that the applications of Al Bandi for licenses for
Restaurant, Lodging House and Cigars Sideline at 1085 Higuera Street be not granted. The
motion carried.
The applications of Geo. L.1.7eller for permit to build Two Garages in Block 42 , and
of J.L.Hunsaker for permit to build a lean -to shed in Block 5 Deleissigues Tract , were granted
on motion of H.E.Cox ®econded by John Chapek.

Matter continued for full attendance of
Chas Berkemeyer appeared in re petition for improvement of a certain street in Venabl
Tract batter continued to the next meeting for more detailed data.
Resolution No. 299 ( idew Series ) A Resolution approving Diagram of Assessment District
for the Improvement of portions of Broad Street and rights of way owned by the City of San Luis;
Obispo was introduced and adopted on motion of H."-:'.Cox seconded by John Chapek by the follow-
ing vote:
Ayes : Chas Forbes, u'.E.Cox, John Chapek.
Noes : ;None.
Absent : L.J.Defpsset, L.F.Sinsheimer,
City Engineer presented Trap of Diagram of assessment District for i:Ionterey.Street
Storm Drain Matter laid over to the next meeting.
On motion of H.E.cox seconded by John Chapek the meeting adjourned to i.ionday, October

City Council met in adjourned session - Vice President of the Council Chas Forbes
presiding.
Present : Chas Forbes, L.J.Defosset, H.E.Cox.
Absent : John Chapek, I,:ayor L.F.Sinsheimer.
On motion of H.E.Cox seconded by L.J.Defosset the application of henry Silacci for
permit to remodel a Garage House and build a double garage in.Bloek 93 at a cost of $ 300.00
was granted on motion of H.y.Cox seconded by L.J.Defosset.
On motion of H.E.Cox seconded by L.J.Defosset the following applications for license
were referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for report to the Council:
L. Tucker - Lldse ( Confect, Lunch, Soft Drinks etc ) Ilorton Pharmacy, 796 Higuera Street.
Restaurant, Soft Drinks, Cigars Sideline & Lodging House - 1085 Higuera Street.
