The application of Cole Bros. Circus, by Carl _:nudsen,�1gt., for license for Circus
was received and referred to the Commissioner of Imblic health and Safety for report to the

The minutes of April 7th and 14th were read and approved as corrected on motion of
John Chapek seconded by Chas Forbes.

The following applications for permit to connect with the City Sewer were granted on

The application of J.W -Gill for position as Police Officer, and that of E.A.'enetzky
:or appointment as Police Judge were received and ordered filed on motion of L.J.Defosset

Upon -lotion of Chas Forbes seconded by the Bids received from I.L.P.yder,

City Attorney reported on the matter of the application of D.S.'?osa for permit to

and on motion of H.E.Cox seconded try L.J.Defosset the application was granted.

It was moved by H.E.Cox and seconded by Chas iorbes that the matter be referred baca to the
Ipetitioner with the request that said petitioner interview property owners affected and report
to the Council at an early date. The motion cLtrried.
relative to the petition of crank Carvao et.al., for the improve: -lent of Grove and
other Streets: is -atter discussed and the City :_:gineer directed to report to the Council
on various types of pavement etc.
On motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by Chas Zorbes the resignation of r..H.Brazil as
Folice Judge was accepted, to become effective ;-Lay 1st 1930.
Two co'aunications from Dr. ',','.I :(.Dic�ie, Director of Public Health, Sacramento, in
regard. to Health matters were referred to the Health 0- 'ficer with such recommendations as he
may desire in the premises.

Ordinance Edo. 143 ( idea Series )An Ordinance amending Ordinance I10. 45 entitled,
"n Ordinance to establish Fire Proof Building limits and prescribing 3uilding regulations ",
approved April 17th. 1890, and repealing Ordinance No. 98 ( Iiew Series ) entitled,
' An Ordinance defining and establishing a Pire District within the City of San Luis Obispo
limiting the construction of buildings within said district ", adopted Larch 24th 1924, was
introduced and adopted on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by Chas Forbes by the following vot
