The matter of the petition of H. J. Dubin for re- subdivision of property in Block 149,
Harford Addition, was now before the Council. Tentative map presented. Matter discussed,
referred to the City Engineer for conferenoe with the applicant.
The Diagram of Assent District for the improvement of Pacific Street,. under

Resolution of Intention No. 354 (New Series) was.presented by the City Engineer, and,
Resolution No. 354. (New.Series), A resolution approving Diagram of Assessment
District for the improvement of a portion of Pacific Street in the City of San Luis,Obispo unc
Resolution of Intention No. 346 (New Series), was introduced and adopted on motion of
John Chapek seconded-by J. B. Berkemeyer by the following vote:
Ayes : J. B. Berkemeyer, John Chapek, H. E.:Cox, L. J. Defosset, L. F. Sinsheimer.
Noes : None.
Absent: None,
In re "Rabies ", Discussion. The City Attorney was directed to draft an ordinance
and present to the Council at the next meeting.
On motion of L. J. Defosset seconded by John-Chapek the meeting adjourned.

The Merchandising Bond of Frank Sweeney, Surety, J. F. Faulstich, was received, and,
on motion of John Chapek seconded by 1. J. Defosset the Surety was accepted and the Bond
approved.
The application of Maj. A. ldhorley for permit to solicit funds for the White Cross
Homes Inc., was referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for report to the
Council.

The application of lira. Elvina Mazza for permit to lay 40 feet of full width sidewalk
on the east side of archer Street between Pacific Street and Marsh Street, was received, and,
after discussion the application was granted on motion of H. E. Cox seconded by J.B. Berkemeyer
with the provision that the sidewalk be made park sidewalk and the work done under the super-
vision of the City rEngineer.

Sign at the Golden State Milk Products Building, 570 Higuera /was referred to the Commissioner
of Public Health and Safety for report to the Council.
The petition of Guy N. Baldwin for permit to tear out about 3 fe.et of curbing situated
between two driveways at the E1 Camino Service Station and ramp sidewalk to conform with the
present driveways was received and on motion of L: J: Defosset seconded by John Uhapek the same
was referred to the Commissioner of Public Works for report to the Council.
The application of 0. P. Murray for permit to connect with sewer on Sandercock Street
between Ward Street and Story Street was granted, on motion of H. E. Cog seconded by
J. Be Berkemeyer, with the provision that the work be done under the supervision of the
City Engineer.
The application of Sarah T. Brown for permit to construct s.stone wall on lot 5,
Block 39, was granted on motion of H. E. Cox seconded by L. J. Defosset.
The application of .Wm. Be Bradbeer for license for Soft Drinks at LUSsion Field and
I,ditchell Lot was denied, on motion of L. J. Defosset seconded by H. r,.. Cox.
On motion of L. J. Defosset seconded by John Chapek the following applications for

On motion of L. J. Defosset seconded by H. Be Cox the applications of
Cline's Electric Shop for permit to hang two Neon Electric Signs at Routaahn Motor Company,
1330 Monterey Street, were granted with the provision that the said signs be hung in accordance
with the provisions of Ordin nce and under the supervision of the City Engineer.
The application of A. Be Ruda for permit to remodel E1 Camino Service Station,
Block 114, Reeds Addition, was granted on motion of L. J. Defosset seconded by J. Be Berkemeyer.
Application of A. E. Ruda for permit to install one 550 gallon gasoline storage tank
and one additional gasoline pump at E1 Camino Service Station, Block 114, Reeds Addition, was
granted with the provision that said installation comply with rules and regulations of the
Board of Fire Underwriters and that the work be done under the supervision of the City Engineer.
The application of Guy N. Baldwin for permit to install one 550 gallon gasoline
storage tank and one additional gasoline pump at El Camino Service Station, Higuera and Walker Sts.,
was referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for report to-the Council.
The matter of final action of Ordinance No. 354 (New Series), in re Fire-Zones, was
continued.
Application of Mrs. ':1. H. Ajills for permit to lay curbing on High Street between
Cypress Street and Beebee Street was again continued, pending the establishment.of grades.
