HomeMy WebLinkAbout07/04/1931The petition of A. & H. Auto Parts and Wreaking Company (Harry n. Robman) for transfe of license for Junk Dealer at 1131 Monterey Street to E. J. Bilodeau was granted on motion of L. J. Defosset seconded by H. E. Cog. The reports of the City Clerk and'the City Treasurer for the month ending May 31st,1931, were received and ordered filed on motion of H. Be Cog seconded by L. J. Defosset. Applications for the regular quarterly licenses were granted on motion of L.J. Defosset ' seconded by H. E'. Cog. Application of Geo. Yashida for license for -Lunch Counter at Marsh & Osos Streets withdrawn. On motion of L. J'. Defosset seconded by J. Be Berke ;neyer the application of the Valley Electric Company for permit to hang a horizontal double faced Neon Electric Sign at the Obispo Hotel, Higuera and Court Streets, was granted. On motion of L. J. Defosset seconded by J. Be Berkemeyer the following applications for license were granted: Albert Earl Henderson Bakery 1035 Chorro Street Mary A. O'Reilly Soft Drinks Core Monterey St. & Murray Ave. Daniels & Moore Soft Drinks Drive -in- Market Application of Mrs. we H. Mills for permit to lay 70 feet of curbing on the South side of High Street between Cypress Street and Beebee Street was again laid over. Resolution No. 356 (New Series), A Resolution declaring a portion of Higuera Street and a portion of Chorro Street to be and constitute Boulevards was introduced and adopted on motion of L. J. Defosset seconded by J. Be Berkemeyer the City Attorney was granted a two weeks' leave of absence from the State, beginning July 4th, 1931. On motion of H. E. Cox seconded by J.
