In re Hearing on Assessment for the improvement of Pacific Street under
Resolution of Intention No, 346 (New Series): date for hearing protests on said assessment
set for July 27th, 1931, at 7:30 o'clock P. He
Resolution No. 357 (New Series),. A Resolution accepting a Deed from Joseph Ruses
and Lucia Ruses for conveying right of way privilege for water pipe line over and across lot 5
in Block 149 Harford Addition, was introduced, passed and adopted, on motion of H. E. Cox
seconded by John Chapek by the following vote:

Noes : None.
Absent: L. J. Defosset.
H. J. Dubin presented map of Nippon Tract, a re- subdivision of lot 2, Block 149,
Harford Addition, together with City Tag Bond in the amount of $50.00. Said Yap and Tax
were approved on motion of John Chapek seconded by J. Be Berkemeyer.
Ordinance No. 154 (New Series) , Relative to creating Fire Zones was again laid over.
Application of Mrs. we H. 1jills for permit to lay curbing on High Street between
Cypress Street and Beebee Street was again continued pending the establishment of grades.
Relative to the application of Olive Be Martin for sewer connection on Osos Street
between Higuera Street and Monterey Street: The City Engineer reported that We Be Martin had
agreed to contribute $137.00 toward the cost of installation of said sewer. It was moved by
H. E. Cos seconded by J. Be Berkemeyer that the City Engineer be instructed to proceed with the
installation of the sewer in question and that the partial payment be collected from Mr. Martinl
On motion of H. E. Cog seconded by J. Be Berkemeyer the meeting adjourned to Monday,
July 13th, 1931, at 7 :30 P. 11.
