The report of the =olice Judge for-the month of April was received and ordered filed, on motion ._duly seconded and curried, The c1Gim of the City Tax Collector in the amou;t of � 242.04 , being second payment for the year 1931 -1932 , for Street Ir.aprovement ;_ssessments against the City of San Luis Ubispo for the improvement of goad Street, "calm Street and Lower _Higuera �treet, was ordered raid, on motion of John Chapek seconded by L.J.Defosset: Claims against the City for the month of April were ordered paid, on motion of John Chapek seconded by B.E.Cox , subject to the approval of the heads of the respective departments. A communication from the Automobile Club of Southern California, together with draft of resolution, was received and ordered placed on file, on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B.Berkeraeyer. Application of the ;.Iidland Counties Public Service 8orporation 7 202 for permit to do certain work on ::fill Street between Toro Street and Essex Street was granted on favorable report and motion of ii. .E.Cox seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer. The petition of the County of San: Luis Obispo for permit to coivaect a proposed Sewer Iline on Grand _:venue, with the main line of the City Sewer at Grand .venue and ! :iurrey Streets was laid over for investigation and a written report by the City �Zgineer. The City Engineer presented written report in re '„Tap of 'Tract 11 , which report Iw'as ordered received and filed.
