Present : John Chapek, H.E.Cox, L.J.Defosset. absent : J.B.Berke-ieyer, i;iayor L.F.Sinsheirner. The application of : 'llvinza ':;ebster for permit to build a residence on lot 15 Loma Vista addition at a Cost ofd 4,750.00 was granted on motion of H.E -Cox seconded by L.J.Defosset. she following applications for licenses were referred to the Co- n :iissioner of Public Health and Safety for investigation and report to the Council on motion duly seconded and carried Ella J. Hayes Boarding House 977 Santa Rosa Street Ella J. Hayes Lodging House 977 Santa iiosa Street Emilita Lyman Cigars Sideline Pacific & Higuere St. The i:ierchandising Bond of PJalter Allen, Surety Fred P. Idetzler, was approved and the Surety accepted, on motion of H.-E.Cox seconded by L.J.Defosset. The application of Steve and Estella Seger for permit to lay 55 ft of 5 ft park side - ,jalk and curbing on the east side of Chorro Street between Center Street and i:it. View Street, and 84 ft of same on the north side of '.;t. View Street between Chorro Street and Lincoln Street, in the A'nholm :addition, was grahted on 3otion of H.E.Cox seconded by L.J.Defosset, with the provision that said work be done under the supervision of the City ;ngin�.er. l Petition of J.W.-I-rinney for per:nit to maintain a wagon on Autosobile chassis, on the South side of Higuera Street, on property of Tars. j;.L.:::arre, fro;s which to sell eanuts, Pop- ' corn, Soft Drinks etc., �Aus granted on favorable report and .- Iotiorl of L.J.Defosset seconded by Petition of is :addalena Firestone Service, by E.T.-T. Pease, for permit to install 2 - 1000 gallon gasoline storage tanks and two electric Lieter gasoline pumps was referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for report to the Council on motion of L- J- Defosset seconded by H.E.Cox. On motion of H.E.Cox seconded by L.J.Defosset the report of the Pound Plaster for the month of April 1932 was received and ordered placed on file. A^plication of the '::idland Counties Public Service Corporation ;r 204 for permit to replace a pole on Peach Street between Osos Street and Santa Rosa Street was granted, on motion of H.E.Cox seconded by L.J.Defosset. The petition of the :Iidland Counties Public Service Corporation 7 203 for grant of right of way for transmission line over and across lots -2 and 3 of Section 30 Township 30 S.-I.13 was received and continued to the next meeting of the Council. Application of the Christian Science Church for permit to place sign posts in accordance with petition on file was again continued. Petition of J.1.4- Zinney for permit to .:raintain a 'Jagon for the sale of I;Ierchandise at Csos and Larsh :- treets eras denied, on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by H.E.Cox. "pplications of i:irs. E:ailita Lyman for licenses for Lunch Counter and soft m inks at Facific and Higuera streets were granted on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by Ii.E.Cox, as was also, the application of K. ::IatSUlnoto for license for Laundry at 214 Higuera Street. Petition of the Bounty of San Luis Obispo for per:lit to connect a proposed sever on Grand .venue with the m,:in line of the City Sewer at, Grand Avenue and I.urray Streets ; the matter of a new Ordinance licensing Contractorg, and the matter of unpaid licenses were again co,itiuuia.
