Application. of L.C.Porter for permit to tear down an old residence on lot 6 Block 119 Heeds .ddition, granted on motion of H.F.Cox seconded by L.J.Defosset. �'he following applications for licenses v�ere referred to the Commissioner of Public alth and Safety for investigation and report to the Council : J.H.Carter - Cigars Sideline, Billiards �: Poal.and Soft Drinks at 1006 Railroad Avenue. C.:�.Boyd - Dance Hall ( I~iaino Building ) 977 Higuera Street. The petition of George B. Collins for transfer of license for restaurant at 1022 Sorro Street to I��rs. Hose Blla i'_eys granted, on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B�.Berkemeye The petition of Theo. I,I. 1,Taino for permit to cut down sidewalk and curb for a distance of 14 feet on the mouth side of uiguera 5tre�t between :,:orro street and �sos Street was referred to the Commissioner of Public 4Jorks for investigation and report to the Council, on motion of John Chspek seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer. Petition of Fred C. ]!+imball for permit to install one ( 1 ) 10,000 gallon gasoline storage tank st kimball Service Station, High snd Higuera Street, was referred to the Com- missioner of Public Health and Safety for report, on motion of John Chspek seconded by H.F,.Coa. Application of I:iirism J.Forbes for permit to connect with main public Sewer on Brizzolara Street granted on motion of H.L.COx seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer. The reports of the City Lolls ctor and the Police Judge for the month ending September 30th 1932, mere received arrd ordered placed on file; on motion of L.J.�efosset seconded by H.F,.Cox. Claims against the City for the month of September 1932, were ordered paid, subject to the applovsl of the heads of the respective departments, on motion of John Chapek seconded by L.J.Defosset. Petition of Foster i;: Lleiser Company for permit to erect a sign board in Block 119 eeda �Iddition granted on favorable report and motion of i,.J.Defosset seconded by H. :.Cox.
