City Hall, Monday, March 13th 1933 - -7 :30 P..M.
City Council met in adjourned session — Vice President of the Council John Chapek
presiding.
Present : J.B:Berkemeyer, John Chapek, H.E.Cox, L.J.Defosset.
Absent : Mayor L.F.Sinsheimer.
The application of Nancy A. Bullock for permit to make certain repairs to residence
on lot 2 Block 4 Norton Addition at a Cost of $ 20.00, granted on motion of H.E.Cox seconded
by J.B.Berkemeyer.
Two applications received from the Pacific Tel & Tel Company for permit to do
certain repair work, as set out in said applications, on High Street near the junction of
Walker Street, and on Story Street near the Pacific Coast Railway tracks, were referred to the
Cosaissioner of Public Works with power to act on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B•Be
on file.
Report of the Pound Laster for the month of February 1933 received and ordered placed
The application of Bates and Walterhouse, by George W. Bates, for regiatration as a
Class " D " Contractor, together with Bond and license, fee was received and on Motion of
H.E.Cox seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer the application was granted and license ordered issued.
On motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by H.E.Cox the following applications for licenses
or permit to sell wine or beer, or both, when the sale of such beverages is legalized, were
ordered placed on files

Petition of S.,M.Anderson for permit to install a Gasoline pump and tank of 280 gallons,
capacity inside property line.at 1725 Broad Street, was granted on motion of L.J.Defosset
seconded by H.E.Cox, with the provision that said installation comply with rules and regulations
Qf Board of Fire Underwriters and that work be done under supervision of the City Engineer*
Application of National Business and Professional Women for permit to place a Service
Club Sign at the North and South entrances to the City of Ban Luis Obispo was again laid over.
Petitions of iiomination of the Candidates for the respective offices to be- voted on
t the General Municipal Election to be held in the City of San Luis Obispo on the 3rd day of
pril 1933, were presented by the City Clerk, with affidavit of the said City Clerk as to the
ficiency of said petitions. Following are the petitions filed:

For Coundilman — John Chapek; Willis H. Chase; Chas:_Forbes; Raymond P. Howell;
