City Council met in adjourned session - Mayor L.F.Sinsheimer presiding.
Present J.B.Berkemeyer,John Chapek, L.J.Defisset,L.F.Sinsheimer.
Absent H.E.Cox.
The matter of compensation for Election Officers for the General I:Iunicipal and
consolidated Charter Amendment Election held in the City on April 3rd 1933, w4.s taken up, and
on motion of John Chapek seconded by L.J.Defosset it.was ordered that said election officers
be compensated in the amount of 8.00 each for their services this order to apply also to
the Election Officers in the special precinct outside the City of San Luis Obispo.
On motion of John Chapek seconded by L.J.Defosset rental for the seven polling
places within the City of San Luis Obispo was fixed at 8.00 each Rental for polling
place at Precinct 8 outside City ( Star Auto Camp ) was allowed at 10500
The Council now proceeded to canvass returns of the General Municipal and
Consolidated Charter Amendment Election held April 3rd 1933. Tabulation following shows
result of vote cast at such Election and as canvassed by the City Council. The number of
votes cast at such election being 2924 within the City of San Luis Obispo, and 33 in the
consolidated precincts outside the :City, voting on School Directors only.
