At the request of the Co iissioner of Public Health and Safety the petition of T.F.Weaver requesting that a certain building at 1418 Palm Street be condemned and removed, was laid over for further time for report. On motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by John Chapek the City Attorney was instructed to take the necessary procedure:- for the collection of licenses remaining unpaid for the January quarter 1933. The Council aoW proceeded to Canvass the Absentee Vote for the General municipal Election of April 3rd 1933 ; On motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by i.F,.Cox it was ordered that the ballot of Dominique Chandre be cast. Howell and Joseph Leary, being the two persons receiving the highest number of votes cast for Councilman, were, and each of them was declared elected Councilman for the full term o: four years, as prescribed by law; that Roy R. :;icholson and Conrad 1. Smith having received the highest number of votes cast for School Director, were, and each of them was declared elect Director for the full term of Four years, as prescribed by law; that Charter amendment o. 1 , Charter :amendment No. 2 and Charter Amendment No. 3 , each, having received a majori Of all votes cast, were, and each of them was declared ratified.
