BerkemeyDr ,L.J.Defosset,3.P.Howell,Joseph Leary,L.F.Sinsheimer. Absent None. The minutes of June 19th and 26th 1933, were read and approved as read on motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by R.r.Howell. Reports of the City Collector and Police Judge for the month of June 1953, recei ordered filed on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer. Claims against the City for the month of June 1933 were ordered paid subject to he approval of the heads of the respective departments and the I.Iayor , on motion of .B.Berkemeyer seconded by L.J.Defosset. Triplett for license for Catering, 1025 Court Street On motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer the following applications for licenses were granted : Fred Marburg - Ice Cream, Soft Drinks, Sandwiches Mitchell Park W.E.Smith - Cigar Store Railroad Avenue Petition of Merrifield Electric Company for permit to hang a Horizontal Tdeon Sign at Associated Service Station , 301 Higuera Street, granted on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by R.P.Howell, with the provision that work be done under the supervision of the ity Engineer and in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance. Petitions of W.T.Walker, H.E.Clark and Carlo Borlandelli for licenses for ontractore continued. Petition of r.A.H.Arata in re Tax Sales, and the petition of T.F- Weaver at al re premises at 1416 Palm Street continued. Matter of unpaid licenses continued. It was moved by Joseph Leary and seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer that the Council ommend and thank the members of the Fire Department, and the Police Department, and those assisted at the fire at St James Hotel July 3rd. for the efficient service rendered.
