Present : J.B.Berkemeyer, L.J.Defosset, 2.P. dwell, Joseph Leary, L.F.Sinsheimer. Absent : Hone. Application of Charles B. Beaulieu for license for1,1dse ( bunch Soft Drinks, etc. ) at 1636 Osos Street referred to the Co..1::1issioner of Public Health and 3afety for investigation and report to'the Council, on notion duly seconded and carried. Application of EnTna Krebs for permit to lay 24 ft of full width sidewalk on the south side of aiguera Street between Garden Street and Broad Street referred to the Commissioner of Public 'forks for report, on motion :P,;Howella ado onded_.by .Joseph Leary. The report of the City Collector for the month of R ovember received and ordered filed on motion of J.3.3erkemeyer seconded by - .p.Howell. Application of the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company for permit to do certain work on Ilipomo Street near Higuera ; Street laid over, as was also, the application of Victoria Duchi for license for Hotel at 964 Chorro Street. Application of J.S.',5ilson for license for Hotel at 1360 Osos Street granted on moti of L.J.Defosset seconded bg 3.P.Hotvell. --he followi ng license was ordered cancelled : October quarter 1933: # 1097 - C.L.3vans Heal Estate $ 5.00 On motion of L.7.Defosset seconded by J.B.3erkeneyer all unpaid licenses for the October quarter, except 1029 - John 1. 1.1ilson , I),Idse ?Neat $ 6.00 , were referred to the City Attorney for collection . In re Bonds for Beverage licenses: It was moved by L.J.Defosset and seconded by J.3.I3erke -3eyer that Bonds filed with applications for Beverage licenses be cancelled and Sureties relieved, in all matters relative to Beverage licenses where parties have complied with Ordinance. In re petition of I:i.H.ionini regarding use of a portion of Sycamore Street On :notion of J.B.Berkemey.er seconded by L.J.Defosset it wus ordered that said petition be denied for the reason that the City .has.-..no.-. . jurisdiation,,_ All matters pending were continued to the next meeting. In re certain proposed improvement at City's Sewer Disposal plant ; On motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer it was ordered that _.Iayor L.F.Sinsheimer be empowered to proceed ::,ith plans and specifications for presentation to the Council for their consideration.
