City Hall, i.ionday, De: ember 18th 1933 — 7:30 P.y.
City Council met in regular session — dice President of'. the Council L.J.Defosset
presiding.
Present : J-:B :.Berke -meyer, L.J.Defosset, R.P.Howell,'Joseph Leary.
Absent : Mayor L.F.Sinsheimer.
The minutes of December 4th and 11th were read and approved as read on motion duly
seconded and carried.
.implication of Rodney V. Johnson for permit to repair residence on T.Ot 2 Block 77
at a Cost of 300.00 granted on motion of J.3.Berke:_ieyer seconded by H.i'.Howell.
Application of Dvvi,ght 7. Curtis for permit to lay 50 ft of 5 ft park sidewalk and
urbing on the north side of Leff Street between ''road Street and idipomo Street- granted on
otion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by Joseph teary; work to be done under supervision of the
:ity~ - ngineer.
Applications of O.T.Buck for licenses for ?estaurant and Cigars Sideline at 1032
horro Street referred to the Co,aissioner of Public Health and Safety for investigation and
eport to the Council, as was also, the applications for the regular quarterly licenses, for t
January quarter 1934.
On motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by Joseph Leary the application of
Charles B. Beaulieu for license for I.Idse( Lunch, Confect. Soft Drinks etc) at 1638 Osos Street
was granted.
Petition of 3mma i:rebs for permit to lay 24 ft of full width sidewalk on the South
Side of F.iguera Street between Broad Street and Garden Street granted on motion of J.B.BerkeTde_�
seconded by 3.P.Eowell with the provision that work be done under the supervision of the City
Engineer.
Application of Victoria Duch_i for license for Hotel at 964 Chorro Street laid over.
All matters pending were continued to the next meeting.
On motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by H.F.Howell the meeting adjourned to Tuesday,
December 26th 19339 at 7 :30 F.I:i.
