City Hall, Tuesday, February 13th 1934 - 7 :30 P.Ie1:
City Council met in adjourned session - dice rresident of the Council L.J.Defosset
presiding.
Present : J.B.Berkemeyer, L.J.Defosset, R.P.Howell, Joseph Leary.
Absent : lvlayor L.F.Sinsheimer.
The !'�Ierchand i sing Bond of Lorraine Aaron with Frank ston as Surety was received
aiad.on motion ::duly seconded and carried the Surety was accepted and the Bond approved.
_Application of Agnes I:. Lyman for permit to lay 44 ft of curbing on the.Idorth side
of Upham Street between Broad Street and Carden Street referred to the Commissioner of Public
Norks for report to the Council.
On motion of .P.Howell seconded by Joseph Leary the application of John E.Smee
for permit to break pavement on Santa Rosa Street at corner of Hathway <venue for purpose of
making Sewer -connection referred to the Commissioner of Public ,iorks with power to act.
Report of Pound Laster for the month of January 1934 ordered placed on file.
Application of Albert Tognazzini fdr license to operate a restaurant at 1032
Chorro Street referred to the Commissioner of Public wealth and Safety for report to the Counci'
The following applications for licenses were granted on motion of �:.P.Howell
seconded by Joseph Leary: E.F.Anders - Cigar Store at 1037 Chorro Street; Clore LicIntosh-
Mdse ( Confect. Lunch etc ) at 280 Higuera Street.
The following applications for permit to hang signs were granted, on motion of
J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by .P.Howell, with the provision that said signs hang in accordance
with the :pr.ovsions of Ordinance and under the supervision of the City Engineer:
