Re ; petition of Board of Education for closing a portion of ward Street
between Branch Street and Sandercock Street ; City Attorney presented the necessary
papers, and,
Resolution of Intention No. 387 ( New Seties ) A Resolution of the City
Council of the City of San Luis Obispo declaring its intention to close up a portion of
Ward Street in the City of San Luis Obispo was duly and regularly adopted, on motion of
L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer by the following vote:
Ayes : J.B.Berkemeyer, L.J.Defosset, R.P.Howell, Joseph Leary, L,F.Sinsheimer.
Noes : None,
Absent : Ilona.
All matters pending were continued to the neat meeting,
On motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by a.P.Howell , Commissioner of Public
Works J.B.Berkemeyer was granted leave of absence from the State for the period of
one week,
On motion of R.P.Howell seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer the following unpaid license
for the July quarter 1934, were referred to the City Attorney :

f:- building known as ElRey Hotel ) was referred to Commissioner of Public Health and Safety'
for investigation and report to the Council.
The report of the City Treasurer for the month of August 1934, received.and
ordered filed on motion of R.P.Howell seconded by Joseph Leary.

ordered placed on file.
