The report of the City Treasurer for the month ending September-30th 1934, and of the City Collector for the month of October 1934 were received and ordered placed file. C16ims against the City for the month of October 1934 were ordered paid subject o the approval of the heads of the respective departments and the Ilayor, on motion of .P.Howell seconded by Joseph Leary. Communication of the Valley Electric Company relative to a certain unpaid bill s referred to the Commissioner of Finance for investigation and adjustment, on motion of oseph Leary seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer. Petition of 13.C.Haas for permit to change location of sign from 1121 Higuera ree t to 1040 Higuera Street granted on motion duly seconded and carried. Re : petition of Leona Johnson Taring for ':Mater Service to Jeff Johnson Place: ommissioner of Public Works given further time for report. tinued. The City Attorney brought up the matter of the Closing of yard Street between he Southerly line of Sandercock Street and the Northerly line of Branch Street. City Cleri reported that no protests had been filed.
